A big sign that I am getting old may be how often I find myself saying things like, "seniors these days..." But FOR REAL....seniors these days are not the awkward kind that I knew in high school. I remember what I was like in high school and it involved a lot of jncos and baggy tshirts. There was no way to even clean me up and be this natural in front of the camera. And Madison was just that....SO NATURAL in front of the camera. Not only was she just a natural beauty but was just so comfortable (or at least convincingly so) in front of my lens. But I guess the biggest sign that I am getting old is that I went to high school with Madison's father. That's an old lady wake up call!
Madison had decided that she wanted to voyage downtown for her pictures around Main Street Station and wanted a picture inside the new space. I convinced her to do some around the Canal Walk as well....so we could have a little nature in the middle of the city. The day arrived and suddenly right before the shoot our party cloudy day got super dark so we were racing against the clock to use up all the light we could! Madison also brought her best friend along for some photos and I just loved that. I always encourage my seniors to grab some photos with their favorite people. Plus, it's always a bonus to have a buddy along who I know can get a laugh out of you!
Madison, Class of 2019.
