the family portrait experience

The Family Experience includes on location family portrait sessions (up to 6 members, $15 for each additional member), maternity portrait sessions, and in home lifestyle sessions (including newborn).

Sessions with me are relaxed and fun. I want your images to be relaxed and fun! Before your session, we will discuss your expectations, ideas, and goals for our session. What kind of things do we discuss?

LOCATION! 

I have my favorite places, and usually make a recommendation during our consultation based on your personality and style, but I always welcome your location ideas. You may have a favorite place your family loves to go or the perfect family farm. I love to explore new places! We will figure out the best place together!!

CLOTHING!

We want to make sure that everyone is dressed for success! Too often people think of family photos as everyone wearing matching clothes...you know, those jeans and white t-shirt photos from years ago! We want everyone to be comfortable, to feel like themselves, to be in flattering attire, and to compliment each other!! We will discuss some basic tips for dressing for the day and even go over visual examples of what to wear!

YOUR FAMILY!

Tell me about them! Not just the names of your family members...but their personalities as well! 

WHERE WILL THE IMAGES END UP?

Your memories shouldn't end up on a USB drive in a drawer! Are you looking for a canvas to hang in the living room? Are you looking for gifts for relatives? We can plan our shoot with these outcomes in mind.

SPECIAL REQUESTS!

Is there a scar you would like edited from your images? Would you like to bring the dogs for a few photos? Any requests for images or editing will be discussed ahead of time to make sure you end up with the memories you want on your wall!

• Pre-session planning 
• One hour portrait session 
• Online gallery full of your personally enhanced images
• Digital downloads of all images in gallery for print (up to 11 x 14) and for social media use (Full resolution images available on Flash Drive for purchase)
• $50 Print Coupon towards our a la carte menu of canvases and prints so you can decorate your walls or gift your loved ones with your personalized art! Get those images off your computers and into your life!
