We had been planning their engagement session since the Summer. We decided then that we would wait until October....they didn't like hot temperatures so we would wait for that perfect fall weather. Well, their session date arrived and IT WAS ALMOST 90 DEGREES OUTSIDE! Oh, Richmond weather. You can't plan anything around it.
At first the sun was HOT but you really wouldn't be able to tell by the photos. Luckily I wasn't the one in the photos because I am sure you would have definitely noticed I was sweating out there. That was the 2nd day in a row I wore jeans to a shoot thinking it was appropriate in October...the next day I learned my lesson and returned to shorts.
Katie and Travis were a blast. Serious just enough but mostly just a bundle of laughs. We explored the pumpkin patch together for an hour and had a good time. I love clients that are up for anything and roll with whatever I ask them to do. This was my first time at Lloyd Family Farms and I loved it. It provided with lots of awesome photo opportunities and the people there were sweet and helpful too!
I am excited about Katie and Travis's wedding next year! It is quite apparent that they can not take a bad photo and I certainly appreciate that :) But also, I have a feeling that not only is the wedding gonna be super fun but super unique as well.
